Hailing from Greensboro, NC, the Sam Fribush Organ Trio will transport you with their soulful jazz and blues-infused sounds. Expect intricate melodies, driving rhythms, and a passionate performance that will leave you wanting more. Rounding out the trio will be tight rhythms of Chuck Pinckney on drums and Will Darity on guitar.

Opening will be The Moon Unit. This Raleigh/Durham based ensemble blends elements of jazz, funk, and global rhythms to create a unique and captivating sound. Their infectious energy and innovative approach to music will have you dancing. These two groups have been know to collaborate and threw down at the late night Sam Fribush Superjam at Shakori Hills this past fall. Be on the lookout for collaborations or sit ins!

Cat’s Cradle
The Cat's Cradle in Carrboro is a legendary venue that's been around since 1967, and has hosted tons of famous bands including U2, Nirvana, REM and Dave Matthews. This location has been a landmark of the Carrboro downtown and is a place for locals and students of UNC Chapel Hill to engage in the arts community and perform.

Cat’s cradle also features a Back Room, a more intimate venue and performance space where you will often see local favorites performing. The backroom also has a full liquor bar and share the same courtyard/ patio area with the main concert venue. You can find listing for both space on their website. This week they will be hosting Too Many Zooz, Moon Hooch, Hiss Golden Messenger, Soccer Mommy, Fancy Gap and more!

Nearby you can find tons of great local cuisine and breweries like Haw River Farmhouse Ales and Steel String Brewing. Carrboro has long been know for its hip scene and sustaiability initiatives to preserver both the natural beauty and the cultural arts in this area.
