Live Music Update from EZ Vibes

Band Together Homecoming

This past Saturday I was invited to attend the Band Together Homecoming event at Lincoln Theatre! I was a pleasure to meet some of the team from Band Together and learn more about the work they are doing the Raleigh area to support a number of of Mental Health focused charities and organizations. Make sure to check out their website for opportunities to get involved and to get info on upcoming shows!

If you are not familiar with Band Together they are the team behind The Mighty Giveback, which this past year featured Black Pumas, Cory Wong and Young Gun Silver Fox. The event raised over $1 million for the cause. They also hosted Music For the Mountains with Steep Canyon Rangers and Chatham County Line to raise money for Hurricanes Relief efforts in Western North Carolina.

Fireside Collection brings a unique blend of indie rock, folk, and bluegrass to the stage. Their last performance at Lincoln was notably awesome and the energy was high as they played a set of original music and then a Fireside on The Mountain Jerry Garcia Tribute set. They also have performed at Shakori Hills in the past and will be at a number of festivals this year including Winter Wondergrass, Dankgress, 4848 Festival and the Bender Jamboree!

Underground Springhouse will open starting at 8pm.

Featured Venue Spotlight - The Lincoln Theatre

The Lincoln Theatre is a historic venue located in the heart of downtown Raleigh. Built in 1939, it originally served as a movie theater before being transformed into a live music venue in the 1980s. The theater has since hosted countless legendary acts, including everyone from Bob Dylan to The Ramones.

The Lincoln Theatre is hosting a fair share of the jam adjacent bands and this months lineup is sure to get your feet moving. Here are some of the highlights:

In addition to its rich history and great music, The Lincoln Theatre also boasts a a state-of-the-art sound system and the sound is hard to beat. It's the perfect place to catch a show and experience the vibrant Raleigh music scene.

After the show, be sure to explore the many restaurants and bars in downtown Raleigh. Some local favorites include Brewery Bhavana, Poole's Diner, and The Raleigh Times.
