 The EZ Vibes Update

Today was a special day for my family as my wife, Maria Fernanda, was officially granted her U.S. Citizenship. She’s been here from Brazil since 2012 and a green card holder since 2017, but she’s finally eligible to get her passport and, most importantly, have her voice heard at the polls. It’s a bit of a surreal time to celebrate this, especially seeing the struggles and mistreatment many immigrants still face across the country. It’s a heavy reminder for us not to take our rights for granted, as so many are still fighting for theirs.

STS9 - Winter Tour Dates

It doesn’t get much more legendary than STS9 in an intimate room like the Cradle. This show is already marked as a sell-out, but for the lucky ones holding tickets, expect a masterclass in improvisational electronic music. Tribe has a long history with the Triangle, and seeing their massive production in a room where you can practically touch the stage is a spiritual experience. If you’re looking to find your way in, keep an eye on the community boards—this is the "can't-miss" hang of the week.

Billionaire investors just set 2 all-time records. An asset class most investors never even considered.

How have 70,679 everyday investors joined in on the billionaire’s asset class?

A Klimt painting sold for $236 million—the most expensive modern artwork ever sold at auction.

A Kahlo broke the auction record for a female artist at $54 million.

Obvious outliers, sure, but the 2025 fall auction season signaled the postwar and contemporary art market could be entering a bull run.

Why?

  1. Outpaced the S&P 500 overall with low correlation since ā€˜95*

  2. Can trade in any global currency

  3. Natural scarcity

Of course, who can afford to spend millions on a painting, right?

But now it’s easy to fractionally invest in art by legends like Banksy and more, thanks to Masterworks.

They acquire it, securitize it, offer shares, and eventually look to sell it.

Net annualized returns like 14.6%, 17.6%, and 17.8% for works held over a year.

The Psycodelics

The Psycodelics

Thursday 2/26 | Kings | 8:00 pm
If you haven't seen The Psycodelics yet, prepare to have your world rocked. This NC-based powerhouse is a gift to the funk scene, channeling the intergalactic spirit of Parliament-Funkadelic and the raw precision of Prince. They bring a level of heat that hits you like a freight train, but the vibe on Thursday is truly elevated with the addition of Tre. Charles.
