Get ready to get down, Raleigh! The UK masters of groovy instrumental funk, The New Mastersounds, are rolling into the Lincoln Theatre this week. If you're a fan of The Meters, Galactic, or anything with a super-tight, classic soul-jazz pocket, this show is a mandatory attendance. Datrian Johnson & The Family Tree will open and get the dance floor warmed up!

Guitarist Eddie Roberts and the crew are masters of the slow-burn groove, but they can flip the switch and launch into a high-octane boogaloo that'll have the whole room shaking. This is pure, unadulterated, old-school funk may be here for the last time as this is their “Tata For Now Tour”.
