For Bowstring's 5th Anniversary Party they brought some awesome local talent with live sets from Joe May, Jacoozy, and Satellite Dog. It was a perfect celebration of our homegrown talent and a testament to the incredible community that has been built around this music and amazing venue.

The spirit of the Grateful Dead was alive and well at the Lincoln Theatre this past weekend. Raleigh’s own Bring Out Yer Dead absolutely crushed it, treating the crowd to a transcendent night of tunes. Their takes on "St. Stephen" and "Terrapin Station" were particularly powerful, with the band locking into those grooves and taking the audience on a real journey. A perfect night for any fan of The Dead looking for a cosmic trip right here in Raleigh. “Workin Man’s Blues”
Talk about a dream come true! Daniel Donato debuted his new album, Horizons, last Friday with a special, sold-out performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. A place he had always dreamed of playing, the energy was absolutely electric. The clip below shows Daniel greeting the crowd with his customary "HOWYADERN" before launching into a killer rendition of "Workin’ Man Blues." If you want to catch them yourself, Daniel Donato's Cosmic Country will be at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on September 4th, along with Yonder Mountain String Band and ‘. We'll see y'all there!
