Badfish at Bowstring Brewyard tonight

Badfish is a vibe. Badfish is a sonic house party complete with plenty of gyrating fans sipping libations and enjoying various extracurricular activities. Badfish is feel-good music.

But now, Badfish is more. After two decades of Sublime reverence, Badfish originality is stomping into high gear. Badfish recently released its second new song, the anthemic, groove-fortified “F You Pay Me,” with special guest Grieves, as the follow-up to the band’s first single, “High With You.” Now the Sublime repertoire is nicely augmented by fresh original tracks that blend seamlessly together.

Opening before hand is Crooked Coast, a high-energy band from Cape Cod known for blending punk, rock, reggae, and hip-hop into their infectious sound. They deliver powerful songs with undeniable hooks that will transport you straight to an epic summer party.

Kicking off the night from 6:30-7:00pm is the dynamic rap artist Damn Skippy, also known as Alex Veazey, hailing from Charleston, SC. Get ready for his signature blend of clever lyrics and rapid-fire spitting all delivered with a fresh take on '90s hip-hop influences. He's making waves and recently dropped a hot single with Little Stranger!

About the Venue

Bowstring Brewyard

A unique space unlike any other in Raleigh. Named after the “bowstring-trusse” ceilings famous in the 1920s, they converted an old Gulf Oil crude barrel storage garage into hopping community space with full bar, oversized yard and stage for live music events.
